Supply & Distribution Planner
About the role
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITION
Manage both supply and distribution planning work for the brand’s China market business.
Collaborate with brand head quarter team to plan procurement of both sellable and/or non-sellable products. Guarantee products arrival to local warehouses on time with right quantity.
Collaborate with local brand sales and sales operation team to plan distribution and allocation of products to B&M; counters, wholesale channels, and e-commerce platforms.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
Supply Planning & Inventory
- Validate the supply needs by taking into account the demand plan
- Ensure timely inbound supply for Novelties
- Optimize the supply plan according to service level, logistic cost targets and regulatory constraints
- Monitor stock quality (excess, obsolete, shelf life), depreciation, and destruction
- Control good inventory level and coverage in days in warehouse.
Distribution Planning
- Manage counter replenishment parameters and quantities by sku and counter based on sku’s lifecycle status, B&M; sell-out performance and marketing strategy to achieve high presence rate with reasonable counter coverage
- Provide qualitative feedback on status/alert of saleable items and additional request from fields, lead process efficiency, manage catalogue and track department store sell-in progress
- Positive communication between Supply, Marketing, Sales and Sales operation
- Proper distribution of novelties for B&M; based on collaboration with Marketing and Sales
- Weekly communication of allocation on novelties and tight SKU
- Monthly analysis the root cause of over/under consumption of saleable items
- Make recommendations and lead actions to drive business metrics with key internal functional areas
- Animate periodic logistics reviews with brand’s Top Management and key clients
- Update ERP/POS with accurate sales status data by sku based on forecasts, supply, lifecycle and stock to maintain efficient working environment
