Cashier

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITION

• Payment processing

• Payment platform administration

• Payment records administration


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

1. Payment administration

  • Responsible for all kinds of payment processing including vendor payments, staff payments, intercompany payments, oversea payments etc. Ensure all payments comply with internal policy.
  • Manage online declarations of oversea receipts and payments
  • Monitor payment status, follow up with failure payments with related internal stakeholders
  • Plan and control reasonable payment process to ensure all payments settled before deadline in high efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage payment documents filing in good manner


2. Payment platform administration

  • Work closely with core banks to ensure a smooth daily operation on external payment platforms
  • Follow up with Sapphire team on any projects/upgrades of internal payment platform


3. Cash management

  • Assist Treasury Manager to better centralize funding from all channels to group cash pool
  • Regular communication with regional HQ on weekly cash requirement and ensure sufficient funding support from group cash pool
  • Monitor all bank accounts' balance accuracy especially during month end closing
  • Responsible for daily bank statements renewing, monthly bank slips download and petty cash
  • Classify the statements including bank charge and interest and communicate with GL team for booking


4. Staff purchase & Bazaar sales

  • In charge of staff purchase and bazaar sales receipts, manage refunds accordingly
  • Communicate with AR team to ensure all receipts are booked timely and correctly


5. Participant in Treasury projects upon assignment


6. Support internal and external audit


MAIN KPIs OF THIS POSITION

  • Ensure all types of payments arranged with accuracy
  • Keep good working relationship with internal business partners to ensure a qualified payment service in place


PRINCIPAL COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

  • 1~3 years working experience in Treasury/Accounting functions
  • Bachelor Degree with major in Accounting/Finance related subjects
  • Fast learner and self-motivated character is preferred
  • Detail oriented, ability to work under pressure and deadline
  • Fluent English in writing and speaking
