MISSION STATEMENT:

To elevate the efficiency and integrity of financial operations across Maisons by expertly managing accounts receivable, establishing robust controls, and proactively designing and implementing optimized order-to-cash processes through effective stakeholder collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounts Receivable Execution & Optimization for designated Maisons
  • Execute accounts receivable tasks in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to optimize order-to-cash and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proactively analyze existing order-to-cash and accounts receivable processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Project Leadership & Operational Enhancement
  • Lead and contribute to project tasks and initiatives related to financial processes. 
  • Exhibit foresight and initiative to ensure projects are successfully completed and effectively integrated into operations.
• Internal Control Compliance & Knowledge Sharing
  • Maintain, evaluate, and proactively suggest improvements to current accounting procedures and documentation.
  • Actively support and facilitate the implementation of new internal controls as required by the organization.
  •                      Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a                                    collaborative and continuously improving work environment.

KEY STAKEHOLDERS:

Internal:

• • Local Finance Community within Fashion Group Maisons (BPC, accounting team, etc.)
  • Local back-office departments (IT, HR, etc.) and brand side departments (Retail, Marketing, stores, etc.)
  • Internal control department and internal auditor

External: 

External Auditors and Consultants

 

 

Profil

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.

Experience:

• More than 5 years of accounting experience in foreign retail companies, especially in AR.
• Proficient in Excel and Accounting systems.

 

Qualifications:

• Experience in retail industry.
• Nissho Bookkeeping 1st grade or equivalent experience.

 

Language: Fluent in Japanese and Business English

 

Personality:

• Team oriented and good communication and work relationship
• Strong analytical and synthetic skills
• Proactive attitude
• Ability to work under stress and time management
